At about 6pm this evening the lacrosse world got to see first hand the trailer for the movie Crooked Arrows, a "story centered on a Native American lacrosse team making its way through a prep school league tournament." (See trailer below).
It stars former Superman Brandon Routh who plays a big shot returning to his hometown. Before you know it he becomes the head coach of the "Crooked Arrows," the name of a high school team from Massachusetts.
This is exciting news for the lacrosse world, as the fastest sport on two foot is quickly becoming the fastest growing sport in America. This will bring even more national notoriety to the sport and will teach many of the great history and tradition behind the game as well as how sacred the sport is to the Native Americans.
