As the race heats up in the KHL, HC Torpedo is currently sitting in 4th place in the western conference. This is a nice upgrade from our last season's finish of 9th place. With 11 games left, we are in for a dog fight to finish in the top 4 and gain home ice for the first round of the playoff.
The playoffs will start at the end of February with the format being the same as the NHL (7 games series). Come playoff time, Nizhny Novgorod is going to be rocking!
On the injury front, I am feeling 100% now and I am hoping to get in the lineup soon. I had a great week of rehab and conditioning while the team was on the road. I am feeling back to normal from a strength and speed perspective. I will keep you posted on the team's decision.
